Yay!  So you will be ready when we discuss it!

Haha reading is my main pastime, so it'll be finished in a day or two ;)

I've read all 6 of these books, so I will hold off on the discussion a bit to stay away from spoilers!  Great series though   ;D

GoHex does not read! He absorbs words via osmosis and responds with his thoughts.....how else do you explain the 70 posts per day?

I ordered my copy right after the show talking about it; it finally got here this Wednesday!  I'm enjoying this book much more than the Dresden book I read(already looking into finding the next book or 3 in the series).

I finished this novel a week ago or so, finally come to some opinions on it which I'll sum up quickly.

SPOILER ALERT!

I enjoyed the happy ending. The book was satisfying and I had a childish feeling of glee when I found out Fade, Bernard and Tavi were all alive.

However I frequently got annoyed at the word choice.. I felt like the author used the word grotesque to describe fade far too often. And while yes I did enjoy all the likeable characters (more or less) all surviving, I felt like it was based on the fact that the author didn't think the reader's could take the mental struggle of someone dying.

But that's just my feeling on the book. Overall I enjoyed it and would recommend it but people should be weary of the slightly cheesy ending.

I started to read this series when they did the book review on Captain's Fury had to stop listening so they didn't spoil anything. I am currently about 10% into First Lord's Fury, awesome series.
