Ha, Avatards, take em or leave em. i say let the more important things come first, although if you truely feel naked without them, we can't have that, it will make everyone else feel akward around you.

Thing about Avatars...
They tend to allow people to exploit Forum, SQL servers.  This would be very bad.  We don't want to risk our servers to any malicious code that could kill archives or hurt our ability to broadcast the stream.  So for the moment.  NO AVATARS!

the Avatar has been frozen in an iceberg and will remain there for a century and will arise to defeat the evil signature nation

Fair enough, no avatars < having forums at all :]

Yeah but Doc I need to have Avatars so I can be the typical weabbo douche I am and put my favourite emo anime character as my avatar because it represents me somehow.

There are four ways I know of to set ones self apart on a forum from every one else.
Names
Avatars
Signatures
And personal postings
You really only need two of these, heck I could live with out an avatar and signature. Now if I have a unique name and can post simple sentences or massive walls of text that every one feels the need to read while getting my personal opinion out there.
