I quit angsting about which monitor to buy once it occurred to me that my vision is far too degenerated to tell the difference, and that I'd probably get better visual improvements by means of cleaning my glasses more often.

I have had this Monitor now for a while
(Acer XB270H Abprz Black 27" 1ms (GTG) 144HZ Widescreen LED Backlight LCD G-SYNC Monitor, 300 cd/m2, USB Hub, 1000:1)

First off I like have to say I like it a lot...I have been running all games on MAX graphics (to include Battle Field 4) and I have no noticed any tearing at all.  The picture quality is badass!...if you find this one I highly recommend it.

I appreciate your follow up on having owned this for some time now... I continue to fight about what monitor I would like to get next. This one keeps showing up on my list, but I am also looking at the 4k 60hz Gsyncs that are out there.... More for my photo editing and show things.
