Arduino advice?
« on: March 13, 2013, 10:56:18 PM »

Part of the TED freebies this year allowed me to get a couple of Arduino Uno packs. I have no idea what to do with them. Anyone involved with the Maker scene? What good resources exist for a n00b like myself?

I have done a TON of stuff with Arduinos, Lots of LED projects. I made a 3X3X3 LED cube that was powered directly off the Arduino, as well as a 25 X 25 LED matrix to display animations. Now I am using one to control a camera slider to do timelapse photography.

There is a nice book nearly all RadioShacks carry, made by Make Magazine about basic Arduino stuff. http://www.amazon.com/Getting-Started-Arduino-Massimo-Banzi/dp/1449309879/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1363542180&sr=1-5&keywords=arduino

Good luck with any projects!
