Love Casino, one of the best mob movies about Vegas there is.

Then Taxi Driver. One of my top 5 favorite movies of ALL TIME.

Yeah Casino is awesome. Goodfellas is my favourite film of all time and Casino is basically Goodfellas in Vegas. I choose Casino for De Niro's portrayal of Sam Rothstein over Jimmy Conway.  My second was choice Men of Honour, didn't want my two votes to be on 2 similar films. Cuba Gooding Jr. was also great in his role.

Be sure to check him out in Machete, coming late summer. My brother did some set work on it. Special "Arizona/Cinco de Mayo" trailer available at Aint It Cool.

I did not enjoy Grindhouse at all. Will be interesting to see how De Niro fits in Machete. What exactly did your brother do?

My brother was leadman on GrindHouse and was brought in for some set work for Machete (in particular to do a military base set) during the principal photography. It was while doing the Machete work that he got hired as set decorator for Predators. He started this week doing some sets for some reshooting of some of Machete. He's been pretty busy lately, with 3 features in the can (Tree of Life, The Killer Within Me, and Predators), a number of commercials (Chevy trucks, cell phones for a German company), and a short film by Spike Jonze.
