I felt the need as an eternally suffering Cubs fan to add them to the list.

We share this my good friend, I am also a Cubs fan. I live in Kenosha, so I'm about as close as you can get to Chicago without being IN Chicago. :P

Still, the Brewers fans always mug me when they see me wearing my cubs colors, so I tend to be a closet Cub fan myself.

I guess I'll go with the redsox. I'll watch the occasional game but... its March right now... There are spring training games on the radio already! No other sport gets this much coverage! It doesn't make sense to me how anyone cares so early in the season.

Its easy being  a Red Sox or Yankee fan. Hop on the mile long bandwagon, its not like you'll  be alone.

As for me, Im a long suffering, and will continue to suffer, Cleveland Indians fan. Our prospects coming up in the farm system are decent, but the reality is unless the new collective bargaining agreement radically changes after the 2011 season (and it won't) even if they turn out to be All-Stars (which most won't) we won't be able to keep them. We are the Expos of the 2000's, trading away the best talent seen anywhere in the majors to the top contenders for a handful of beans. Not MAGIC beans, just beans.

I'm a lifetime Phillies fan and I hate the Met's. Currently my Fightin' Phil's are up over the Nat's 11-1 in the top of the 8th. They tend to start the season slow, so a good start is nice to see.
